Once you have dialed the local access number & entered your PIN, then dial:
52 followed by the local number (city code & number) in Mexico
Landline operators in Mexico include Telmex, Avantel, Protel, Megacable, Maxcom and Alestra. Mobile operators include Telcel, Telefonica Moviles Mexico and Iusacell.
When you make calls with PeopleMex, you connect to our phone systems using your own mobile or landline provider. When you dial the full international number in Mexico we use discount lines to connect to local networks in Mexico. We can provide you with cheap calls by bypassing more expensive providers such as BT & Telmex when connecting your call and instead using a combination of internet and telephone services.
Step 1:
Dial the closest local access number from any phone (public phone, home phone, business phone, cell phone).
Step 2:
Listen to the VOICE prompts. Then enter your PIN number.
Step 3:
Listen to the VOICE prompts. Press 52 (only when calling Mexico) followed by the destination number and then press #.
The connection is automatically made.
To place another call, with out hanging up the phone, press # # after your conversation. This will avoid new local phone call charges.
You can make as many long distance calls as you wish by making one call to our access number.
